Memorable July: Sinh viên chuyên ngành Kỹ thuật Nước - Môi trường Nước ĐHXD HN tham gia dự án New Colombo Plan (NCP) cùng với sinh viên ĐH RMIT (Australia)

Dự án New Colombo Plan (NCP) với mục tiêu “Đề xuất các giải pháp cấp nước và vệ sinh chi phí thấp cho vùng miền núi ở Việt Nam/Low-cost Solutions for Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement in Rural and Mountainous Areas in Vietnam” là dự án do tổ chức DFAT, Australia, tài trợ cho sinh viên nghiên cứu và tìm ra giải pháp hữu ích cho người dân vùng khó khăn miền núi Việt Nam.

Kết thúc một tuần làm việc đầy nỗ lực, nhóm sinh viên của hai trường Đại học RMIT và trường Đại học Xây Dựng Hà Nội đã phối hợp ăn ý để cùng nhau đem tới nguồn nước uống sạch và an toàn cho sức khỏe của các em học sinh tại điểm trường Phia Bóoc - xã Giáp Trung - huyện Bắc Mê - tỉnh Hà Giang.

Tại một trong những vùng đất khó khăn nhất của Tổ quốc, nhóm sinh viên đã cùng nhau thiết kế, lắp đặt một hệ thống cung cấp nước uống an toàn, tiện lợi cho học sinh từ hơi ẩm và nước mưa. Hệ thống được tích hợp năng lượng mặt trời rất tiết kiệm và đảm bảo sự hoạt động liên tục.

Một tuần đồng hành cùng với nhau là khoảng thời gian rất ý nghĩa, giúp các bạn sinh viên ngành Nước có thể nâng cao vốn ngoại ngữ của mình cũng như mở rộng các kiến thức liên quan đến ngành học. Với sự năng động và nhiệt huyết của tuổi trẻ, một bức tranh sáng lạn với nhiều cơ hội việc làm rộng mở sau khi tốt nghiệp đang chờ đợi những kỹ sư tương lai của chúng ta

The New Colombo Plan (NCP) has proposed a project to find “low-cost solutions for water supply and sanitation for mountainous areas in Vietnam”. Funded by DFAT, Australia, students were asked to research and find useful solutions for disadvantageous community located in the mountainous areas in Vietnam.

With a week to work with, students from both RMIT University and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering collaborated to help provide a clean, sanitary drinking water for the students at Phia Booc school, a Primary school located at the Giap Trung commune of Bac Me district in Ha Giang province.

Being one of the most difficult areas to reach in Vietnam, students were able to design and install clean drinking water solution through a dual system consisting of the extraction of moisture in the air and the collection of rainwater. The system is also able to be integrated with the solar energy being generated from at the school, making it very economical and sustainable whilst ensuring it prolong use of continuous operation.

During the week of cooperating with each other, students were able to both expand their knowledge in water design whilst improving their foreign language skills. These meaningful experience is something the students will always carry with them during their field of study and with the dynamism and enthusiasm of youth, a bright future with many job opportunities after graduation is waiting for our future engineers!
